Enjoy a special caravan holiday with your dog…
Our fenced dog walk extends along two sides of the caravan park and is one of the largest on any caravan park in Dorset. Most of the dog walk is surfaced with wood chip to be useable in any weather. While walking your dog, keep a look out for deer, badgers, foxes, buzzards and other wildlife, all of which are regularly seen around the grange estate. It is usually safe for your dog to enjoy a paddle in the River Brit which flows through our woodland on its course to the sea at West Bay. Guests are requested to deposit dog waste in the bins provided along the dog walk. Dogs must be on a lead when re-entering the caravan park. See the location of our dog walk on the caravan park site plan.
Walking your Dog in the Brit Valley
Adjacent to the dog walk, a gate opens onto the Brit Valley Footpath.
This leads across open countryside to picturesque villages and the market town of Bridport, 2 miles away. Please respect the countryside code and keep your dog on a lead especially near livestock.
Dog Friendly Beaches
Dog restrictions apply on some Dorset beaches during the summer holidays. There are also beaches where you can take your dog at any time. View dog access notices here.
